As human beings we have an intense desire for belonging and, conversely, for recognition. We want to fit in, and yet we don’t want to stick out. Through the Holy Spirit we find our soul’s need for belonging and recognition met as He welcomes us into God’s family the Church and gives us different gifts to serve.
