5. Loss for Christ

In Philippians 3:1-9, Paul sees Christ as worth immeasurably more than anything else in this world. It's an incredible challenge for us, and at the same time liberating.
Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ – in good times and bad, together, “working out” our salvation without grumbling – so that we can shine for Jesus.
As we begin 2025, Psalm 46 offers a great reminder that God alone is our refuge and strength, therefore we need not fear whatever happens this year.
