St George’s is blessed with a number of multi-purpose spaces that are highly practical for individuals and organisations to use for small and large meetings, events, dinners, classes, birthday parties, and concerts.

Church
St George’s church is the perfect place for your next concert or recital. Seating around 250 people in our heritage box pews, this space features excellent natural acoustics, a Kawai baby grand piano and organ.
Hall
Our beautiful heritage hall is a fantastic space for birthday parties, dances, family get togethers or community group gatherings. The hall has a seated capacity of around 100 and standing capacity of 200 with a curtained stage available to highlight performances. Our heritage kitchen is included in the price and can be used to reheat and serve food via the servery.
Our hall can be hired for one-off events or on a regular basis (reduced rates available, contact the office for more details).
Parish Room
Our Parish Room is a cosy space with seated space for around 30 or a standing capacity of around 40. The Parish Room incorporates a kitchen with fridge, oven and urns.
The Parish Room can be hired in conjunction with the church or separately with access via our church garden.
Long Room
Our Long Room is a compact space with flexible seating options of lounges and arm chairs or tables and chairs. With a capacity of 10-20 this space is a good venue for board meetings or small community group get togethers.

All our hirers are required to sign a formal hire agreement upon a booking being accepted (see ‘Terms of Hire and Application For’ below) and are required to abide by it during the time of hire.
Public liability insurance is not included in this hire price but is a necessity, and for those using the facilities who are not insured insurance is available at no charge via Anglican Halls (https://www.anglicanhalls.com.au/).
St George’s reserves the right to refuse applications which do not accord with its ethos.
Please note that only Christian wedding ceremonies are authorised to be performed on church property.

Finalise booking
We will finalise your booking and issue you with an invoice to secure the booking.
Pay invoice
Pay the invoice by the earlier of 21 days from issue or 5 days prior to hire.
Access building
We will let you know how to access the building for your booking.
Supporting St. George’s Restoration Project
For commercial events we would be grateful if you could draw attention to our Tap N Go donation terminal in our porch area for attendees to support our the ongoing restoration of The Light on the Hill.
